Batman Arkham Asylum

Posted: August 28, 2012 in Video Games

Hey guys! You know that game Batman Arkham Asyulm? It is AWESOME! It has awesome gadgets such as the line launcher, the batarangs, (There are several) explosive gel and others. So once again Batman is taking Joker back to the warm and cozy Arkham Asylum. But while being transported through the asylum Joker breaks free! But he doesn’t try to escape the madhouse, he took control of it! Joker used his time wisely. He set up plenty of henchman-like thugs, Bane, Zasz, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Scarecrow and Clayface. He also spent his time nosing around a doctor’s research on … Spoiler alert!  Bane’s Venom drug! He calls it Titan and guess what he’s going to do with it? Batman has to survive in there for a night. It has 5 stars in my book! I cannot wait to see what Arkham City has in store!

Batman Arkham City

Hey guys (and girls)! Remember when I said I can’t wait to see what Arkham City had in store? It is EPIC! Arkham City takes place 10 years after Arkham Asylum. Hugo Strange brought all the Prisoners of Blackgate and Arkham Asylum to this prison city in the center of Gotham. (It is closed off.)   Unlike Arkham Asylum you get the remote control batarang, the bat claw and the explosive gel at the start of the game. What I love about Arkham City is its size. It is five times bigger than Arkham Asylum! It is so big that you don’t have to stay on objective. You can just explore and beat up inmates. There are side missions too; I’m working on the Zasz mission and the Azreal one too. The riddles are endless, there is one for every area. Also keep an eye out for Easter Eggs. No Easter Bunny, not yours! They are extras or achievements. Some boxes of Arkham City come with a Catwoman code you can redeem on Xbox Live.  So I guess that’s that. Oh, and if you have any Questions on or about the game put them in comments. Goodbye for now!

Pokemon

One day my friend Matthew and I had a play date to play our pokemon game Soul Silver together on our DS. To connect we had to go to the pokemon center and go upstairs in the union room (center) to trade. Matt let me borrow his Arceus to get to a place where only Arceus can reach in the Ruins of Alph. You go in this temple and a guy comes over and talks to you and says “is that the pokemon Arceus” and then you teleport to the Cinja ruins and you’re in this room. You can get Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. I picked Giratina and there’s a whole little scene where Arceus is going to hatch the Giratina egg and the video was awesome !

My favorite pokemon are Darkrai, Giratina and Arceus (because they look awesome, really, really cool!).

I have over one hundred pokemon cards and level X cards are the most valuable.  I have a lot of level Xs.    My favorite Pokemon games are platinum and soul silver.

I like pokemon because they are awesome creatures with powerful moves and they look cool.

Sea Monsters

Sea Monsters is a movie, a book and a video game.  I have the book, movie and Wii version of the game.  I borrowed the DS version from the library.

The book and the game are based on the movie. The movie is about a young female Dolichoryncops’s (“dolly for short”) journey through the Inland Sea to the safety of the shallows where the females will give birth (they do not have to mate).  Along the way her mother gets eaten by a shark and her brother gets eaten by a Tylosaur (“A Tylosaur was the most ferocious sea creature in the Mesozoic era”, he’s a little like a prehistoric crocodile).  Dolly survives the journey and lives a long life.

Sea Monsters for the Wii is not easy to learn how to do things. The DS game is easier to learn how to do things. You collect fossils to unlock bones to build a prehistoric sea creature.   In Sea Monsters the video game you encounter a Thalassomedon (he’s like a Plesiosaur with a super long neck and little flippers), Hendos (a prehistoric sea turtle with a wider shell) and so many more.

I like prehistoric sea creatures more than dinosaurs because they are cooler and more interesting to me.

Here’s a link to an interesting and cool website based on the movie!
